This course reflects UBF shepherding traditions and practices rooted in biblical foundations, helping students assess their lives as shepherds and develop their understanding of shepherdology. Through this course, we aim to grasp a comprehensive view of our church’s shepherding legacy—its history, vision-casting, practices, and personal stories of shepherding. We will study the biblical basis and model of shepherding that God established in Scripture, allowing us to evaluate our practices, experiences, and traditions. We then intend to integrate these elements into our own narrative to shape our convictions and practices of shepherdology within our context. Through this process, we strive to grow as shepherds for young people and nurture them to become shepherds for the next generation of students.
